today i went to church, not for the sunday mass though. i was involved in a discussion – mine is not actually a discussion :p – with gleny and irene. the topic we were discussing was “do you leave god at church?”. gleny represented our little group for what-so-called result.
here is mine. i don’t think that we can leave god anywhere. i really do think that god – Jesus, for me – lives inside each and everyone of us. he’s there all the way through whatever. it is just a matter of how one connects with who or whatever concept of god one believes inside oneself.
and then, there is a manifestation of that connection between one and this so-called god, we know now as religion. religion is made by men, as well as the concept of god itself. all created by men and followed by men. i guess, like what i have been learning in class – yes people! i did not sleep during this class! – that society is just a freakin’ ball of sh*t (read : wrong doings) and through all that sh*t emerge a wise man to, how you say, correct the wrong. then came to me a quote from irene, earlier this afternoon, about this matter. and i quote: kebenaran itu tidak ada, yang ada kesalahan. maka dari itu, ada pembenaran atas kesalahan tersebut. i agree to that statement. simple, how do one learn right with no wrong?
