freddie mercury

okay, starting today to thursday is the peak of my high school studies, the national examination.

i’m so going to nail it! so does all of our dear batch 2010 all around the country :) especially my dear Gonzaga 21 and POINDEXTER :D

and what’s the quotation above being relevant to this whole situation? well, that’s just who i am. performing in this means like when i was in senat or whenever i got the spotlight. otherwise, i truly somewhat a shy person.

really really i am :)

TTYL, off to study for a while :)

Post #390 Love of My Life

you’ve hurt meeeeee!

no it’s not going to be a sad sad post like the very beautiful yet heartbroken song of Queen. at first you may thought it’s a very sweetly written song, but it’s really ironic to listen. along the melody you fall deeply deeply in love, yet the lyrics shows how much you are heartbroken because of the love of your life just left you and how deeply you wanted them back.

do listen to the other song of Queen from the same album – a day at the opera you’re my best friend. i deeply recommend that! the song is written wonderfully and just plain saying how much you’re happy and feel the bestest with your bestest friend :) gladly, this song is, for me, about the sunshine of my life. my bestest friend :)

okay enough with that.. i am going to make a list of how-many-numbers of the greatest song of MY world! this is the all time greatest hits (until a new one comes along, YEEAAAH RIGHT!)

  1. bohemian rhapsody (queen)
  2. smooth criminal (michael jackson)
  3. wooden heart (elvis presley)
  4. somebody to love (queen)
  5. stairway to heaven (led zeppelin)
  6. thriller (michael jackson)
  7. a little less conversation (elvis presley)
  8. dirty diana (michael jackson)
  9. michelle (the beatles)
  10. wave (anthony carlos jobim)
  11. somos libres (sore)
  12. bad (michael jackson)
  13. seaside rendevouz (queen)
  14. ben (michael jackson)
  15. guido’s song (broadway musical: nine)
  16. she’s so beautiful (sore)
  17. etalase (sore)
  18. if we ever meet again (timbaland feat. katy perry)
  19. blue hawaii (elvis presley)
  20. can’t help falling in love (elvis presley)
  21. meglio stasera (michael buble)
  22. the millionaire waltz (queen)
  23. hello there (jazz revolution project)

to be continued soon :D i got tired of thinking, LOL!

now listening to queen’s a day at the races :)

gonzaga – stc senayan (bersama abieza) – rumah luna (disini datang andriy) – rumah abieza – rumah syaura (disini datang cece) – EX & Plaza Indonesia – monas – rumah cece (disini turun cece) – rumah syaura (disini turun syaura) – rumah luna (disini abe pulang dan andriy ambil motor).

okay, all we did was sit and eat and talk and smoke and study MATH! abieza and i were studying our social math while cece syau andriy studied science math. haha, it was awesome! a new way of studying though haha! LOL much! we were, in my opinion, very comfortable and had a lot of fun!

after math, we went to MONAS at night. around 10-ish. hell awesome! *minus the loads of trash everywhere*. we sat around a nice peaceful side just below monas. and FYI: it was ANDRIY & CECE’s first time visiting monas! (btw, if i’m not mistaken, our first times: abe 3rd grade, me 4th grade *with marissa’s mom nagging on the bus about drinks*, syaura 9th grade).

it was 7days before national examination and it was the kind of relinquish i need. like to let everything off and really prepare my heart soul and mind for the damn thing.

i like that though, to runaway from home and all the nagging for a whole day and coming home to everybody already asleep. i guess that’s how i deal with big exams. haha LOL!

the biggest reminder on my bedroom door is no longer to turn down the volume of my loud music but it had changed since last night: EAT!

i will when i want to. i promise. just not right now yet.

speaking honestly, i know what’s going on with my health. and to cover what’s never gone (and as an effect of that), a new bad news comes up.

i’m not going to continue this. actually, i am that much of a coward to end this writing. i guess, everybody’s right about me: I’M A FREAK.

Post #384 Green Zone is So Not a Good Zone to be!

today, at around 3 o’clock PM i went to inten fatmawati to meet up with nico and went together to Pejaten Village to watch a movie – at first we were going to watch THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS. but it was sold out, so we watched green zone instead.

the movie starring matt damon and directed by paul greengrass (they colaborated in bourne ultimatum and bourne supremacy) was about the iraq war and quest to look the weapon of mass destruction. i’m so going to spoil the ending here: there’s no such thing as WMD (it had been dismantled since the end of the gulf war) and the big iraqi traitor, General Al Rawi was shot dead by a local patriotic civilian who’s helping the US Military.

okay, as a major big fan of the united states army, i still madly in love the action (although it wasn’t, like, as good as band of bro’s) though disappointed with the movie. it’s clearly not greengrass’ best. i’ve seen bourne ultimatum and i watched it with a six year old. he got afraid that means it’s a good action movie. this one, it got me asleep.

great cast though damon, amy ryan, brendan gleeson (the bastard who played mad eye moody in harry potter installment number 4 and 5).

honestly, because i’m obsessed with world war 2 i don’t really fancy this one. but there’s a little pentagon-white house-CIA action and, somewhat, still something i want to do. although i have to be an american to do so (i guess) haha! that intel part, jesbon and i were LOVING IT!

okay, i just took a little surfing down wikipedia looking about the next installment of harry potter and got very exited! bill nighy is going to play minister of magic rufus scrimgeour. and looking forward to another brilliant performance from my favorite death eater ms. bellatrix lestrange played by the one and only helena bonham carter. bill nighy is, like, on of my top favorite Brit actors! he usually play the not so good guy though. this one as well, scrimgeour is so the not so good type of guy.

and also while looking at this, i found out that a sequel of the 2005 commercially successful nanny mcphee is on production. emma thompson and ralph fiennes will star (although the adorable thomas sangster will not be involved).

and just now, i read that the beloved mother of adolf hitler (one of my top role model – somebody would kill me for this), klara hitler, was born on august 12, 1860. such a big wadefak FYI moment here!

okay, before i start making stupid and weird writings here: I’LL STOP. TTYL, bloggies!

Post #383 Pain Shots My Tummy All Day

and also all day, he’s been so happy and nice about me getting sick. not in the way that i’m sick and his happy about it but this sickness i got, let’s just say timmy and i have been waiting and getting worried about it not coming. LOL!

right now i am having a stare contest with a mug of a traditional javanese Keraton remedy: kunyit asam. although it has been modernized and factory made i still don’t believe in traditional remedy. usually painkillers will do the trick but i’ve taken twice already today and nothing happened. darn, the first time it ever let me down.

as much as i would be glad to be given one (or two), everybody insists on NOT giving me. darn! i agree in a way that it can lead to addiction (yea, been there done that!) or worse: OD.

okay, actually the best remedy i know and so believe in is love and care (plus the doctors and medications). when i’m sick, i really love when somebody ask how i am doing every once in a while (read: about every an hour or two). and every time he has the chance, timmy would ask that :D

he’s the best. i asked him for marie regal, he got me promina baby cereal because he knew i was craving for it (and i really did crave for them!). he took me home after school.

it sucks a lot because i really felt incredible indescribable pains during japs test and although i did at my upmost best (i’m good actually), my hands were shaking and my hiragana turned into just scribbles. i’m kind of let meself down though. i mean, i know i can still nail the test but it was not my best because of the fact that i was sick doing it. darn!

okay, how many times i use the word “darn” in this post? i think that means i should finish off this post now. LOL!

you know what, i’m right now addicted to the beatles’ michelle and i really really craving to live in just-out-of-town Paris (or nearby Disneyland Paris, that would be better by loads!). just a small country house with big garden, dogs and puppies, a little red brick man-made pond and white lilies around them, roses and yellow daisies, a park bench nearby, and my green swing (i am so having it flown to Paris!) haha..

just AMEN for now. not just paris though, i just want to live country side some musical city. it would be lovely.

well, as much as i hate it: i have to drink that weird yellow stuff. TTYL freaks! lrnz.

Keep Holding On – Avril Lavigne (OST Eragon)

You're not alone
Together we stand
I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand
When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
There's no place to go
You know I won't give in
No I won't give in
Keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Just stay strong
'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you
There's nothing you could say
Nothing you could do
There's no other way when it comes to the truth
So keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
So far away
I wish you were here
Before it's too late, this could all disappear
Before the doors close
And it comes to an end
With you by my side I will fight and defend
I'll fight and defend
Yeah, yeah
Keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Just stay strong
'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you
There's nothing you could say
Nothing you could do
http://www.elyricsworld.com/keep_holding_on_lyrics_glee_cast.html
There's no other way when it comes to the truth
So keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Hear me when I say, when I say I believe
Nothing's gonna change, nothing's gonna change destiny
Whatever's meant to be will work out perfectly
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
La da da da
La da da da
La da da da da da da da da
Keep holding on
'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Just stay strong
'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you
There's nothing you could say

Post #381 Other Than Crazy High School Drama

what does Gonzaga have in common with Glee?

well, our cheerleaders aren’t compared to CHEERIOS and the head cheerleader is not pregnant. truthfully, do we even have a decent cheerleader squad at school?

okay, what Gonzaga have in common with Glee is SLURPEE and BIG GULP. gleeks have slurpee and big gulp thrown to their faces on a regular basis and gonzaga “in crowd” consumes slurpee (and practically the whole 7/11) on a TOO MUCH EXCESSIVE regular basis (for you who don’t understand: too much excessive means way so out-of-line much). and the awful truth (they just too stupid to realize – probably because of the massive sugar amount they have from slurpee and coffee) it’s just a BIG CUP of freaking FROZEN SODA! (again, too stupid to realize, i bet).

yes i do say their coffee is good. (tastes the same with starbucks’ and a regular nescafe with a hint of extra optional sugar – caramel, almond syrup you can also buy in a supermarket then make at home). but spending every morning and after school there? that’s not stupid actually, inefficient.

i am not ever going to apologize for anything i’ve written here. this is a free place where i can point out my opinion FREELY. as hurtful, as judgmental, as bad it may sounds: this is the truth the perpetrator deceiving everybody and everybody else just shove their eyes at a different direction.

for you DEFINITELY AIR-HEADED SNOBS: yes you can taste coffee and slurpee every single morning day and night, but there are EVEN MORE kids and teenager who can’t taste any education you wasted.

i’ve been called a freak, i’m an outcast, i’ve been bullied and, honestly, that happens in my high school. call me a freak, make me an outcast, bully me but take this: YOU ALL WILL WORK FOR ME. and i will not rest and/die before every single children EVERY SINGLE ONE gets the best decent education there is.

because that’s why i punctually working hard at school: to stand up for the people and children who doesn’t have anyone at their side. all they have is silly government with their nice-campaign-promises bullshit crap.

that’s only why i want to be president.

i’ll go one day, as i dreamed, to that orange land. there’s where i really want to go and study. but wherever i will be, i am never going to leave this country. wherever i will be, i swear to fix this country.

i don’t want to dream for myself (anymore) or my grandparents. i want to dream for those who can’t dream. i have the chances and options they don’t, i’m going to make sure they have theirs.

this is why God gave me this, it’s my calling i guess.

and this past two days, i’ve been able to put a hard commitment to it and i fulfill my commitment!

so here’s my schedule, even with twittering and IMing a little it’s very effective!

everyday i study for the next day subjects to be tested. each subjects i study for 2 hours, started from 3pm-5pm and an hour recess and start another 2hours study. so that’ll end at 8pm. i prepare for school tomorrow, get ready for bed, twittering, listen to my specially made test playlist on iTunes, and sleep :)

i like making rundowns but i don’t like them messed up. so that’s why i don’t like to be an event organizer (like erc, abe, or ceno). mainly because, for me if it’s written 7 o’clock IT HAS TO HAPPEN on 7 o’clock. not a second less not a second more. and there’s no such thing in time as a prediction, again, in my opinion. do not predict how long something happen, plan them how long it has to happen. and BE DISCIPLINE about it.

in terms of an event, maybe musical, if band is agreed to play for an hour, AN HOUR SHOULD THEM PLAY. not second more not a second less. A COMMITMENT BASED ON AGREEMENT. (i can say this because there’s always a contract signed and sealed!).

i’ve met so many people, artists, musicians, students, teachers, parents (worst of all) still unable to be discipline on time. manage time and use it effectively.

the first GIANT LEAP and stepping stone to be, if i say so myself, a leader in one’s area of involvement is discipline and punctuality and great time management. that shows high commitment, to oneself and to others. indirectly, it’s efficient and one is no burden to anybody else.

mums the word, but all this talk is also about NOT BEING LATE at anything. in 12grades of school, i’ve only been late for 2 TIMES (both in high school). one because of a road fix and the other for traffic jam, but there’s no excuse for tardiness. i just, personally, despise LATENESS & TARDINESS. it took me a hard time to forgive myself and it were only around 3 minutes past 7 o’clock. both, the teachers weren’t even in class yet (even worse!)

other than a horrible case of NATURAL FORCE MAJOR, there’s no excuse, none whatsoever, for lateness.

well, this is my obsession over time, and yes, it is an obsession for me.

Post #379 First Day First Day and the Little Plastic Bag!

today is the first day of the semester exam for Gonzaga seniors.

this is probably the first exam in three years i don’t feel nervous about :) and that is totally great! i really studied hard last night and i plan to do the same this following week and national examination and school exam. it sucks to be a senior, soooo many exams that all you do all week is exams and on the weekend is buying a new set of 2B pencils. LOL!

i got really excited and felt awesome yesterday when our exam cards were distributed. they put the card in a little plastic bag every each one of ‘em (that’s sums up for about 700 pieces).

there are three point of views looking at this:

  1. from the POV of a student who works hard and NEVER CHEATS, this is an insult and a form of a mistrust. that the school doesn’t trust the students that we (students) can do good on our own hard work.
  2. from the POV of a CHEATER this is a “busted” kind of thing (if he/she is SMART ENOUGH to understand that). but knowing Gonzaga’s cheater, they are sneaky enough to cheat but definitely absolutely INCOMPETENT and IDIOT to realize that. they usually cover their fear by getting upset and mad and saying stupid about global warming (to make them sound smarter than they really are). and there are still so much students think like this. unfortunately (for them), they told me about their “anger” about the plastic bag (LOL for you it got published here!)
  3. from the POV of the school means the school realize and doing something about the kind of students i described in number 2, FINALLY! *i get the biggest hunch that our new wonderful headmaster is one behind this whole concept :)*

this should be a GREAT wake up call for all the 700something students of Gonzaga. that we will not just be the school with the uber colossal great Gonzaga Festival and all dozens events in a year, but also good quality ones. not just students great in organizing and socializing but also great quality in academics and mind.

sometimes i imagine this blog read by teachers, moderators, or the headmaster himself because all 700 of us, students, have opinions and chances to voice them. there are many student bloggers out there who cares about Gonzaga. and this is exactly why i write such a pointing post, because i care. it’s nice to be heard.

Post #377 Let’s Post Something Ridiculous Here

in exactly three weeks (21 days) we high school seniors all over Indonesia is going to face what the government call a “national examination” (i told you i am going to post something ridiculous).

for me and all other social major students it is going to be 6 subjects which are indonesian, english, sociology, geography, math, economy/accounting. for science major students are also six: indonesian, english, biology, math, physics, chemistry.

the only thing still ridiculous in my mind is the GOVERNMENT DOES NOT KNOW THE QUALITY OF THE STUDENTS (wel, all they know is in general speaking not individually). our school knows who we are, not the government. okay, they give the school pointers upon the subjects and what the parameter of what’s what, but the practical matter: the teachers know the students better (at least than the government).

that’s not actually why i think it’s ridiculous, but the mind concept in my fellow friends, students, created by the national examination phenomena. from various opinion i heard from a group of random friends (i never asked for opinion the first place, though) that if they pass the national examination they will be a shoe-in to pass the school examination. now, that is ridiculous.

i heard they say that they are proud to be GONZAGA. but the same people say that the school HAVE TO pass us because it’ll bring up the school rank and that the school is going to do “whatever possible” to do so. they (SHE) believe(s) in that. if that is true: I’D RATHER FAIL IF MY ACHIEVEMENT MANIPULATED FOR SUCH RIDICULOUS REASON AS RANK.

you know what, Gonzaga is a fine establishment (although it is questionable in a “FEW” divisions) and i do believe that they will do no such things. when a student pass/fail it is because purely of his/her effort. not manipulated. it’s hard and sad if one does fail, but through acceptance and hope and perseverance one shall pass.

work hard and play as hard. everything has to be balanced, nothing excessive is good (i heard it’s written in the Bible and Al-Quran).

no great thing is created suddenly

a quote from my grandfather’s favorite mug :)

Post #375 Off With Her Head!

ten years after alice kingsley first tumbles down the rabbit hole, she came back to wonderland!

as a child being fed with disney classic growing up (thank God for never-home-divorced-parents and most awesome grandparents who didn’t want stupid rubbish cartoons get in my mind), i watched over and over of Lewis Carol’s magical timeless tale of Alice in Wonderland Disney had created. mad hatter had always been my up most favorite and the most awesome number is golden afternoon sung by the flowers ;) i also had read the book times and times!

now 56 years after the release of the original disney fantastic Alice in Wonderland adaptation, a-sort-of sequel is made by the amazing director-actor-actress trio Tim Burton-Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter)-Helena Bonham Carter (Iracebeth, The Red Queen) and addition to their uber amazing creative cast: Mia Wasikowska (Alice), Alan Rickman (Absolem, The Caterpillar), Michael Sheen (White Rabbit), Anne Hathaway (Mirana, The White Queen).

well no spoiler here! although i’m the kind of movie freak who watch a movie because i know the history of the story and  what’s-going-on with the director+actors+actresses and not like the hypocrite stuck up kids who watch Sherlock Holmes and don’t even know who Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is and his amazing wonderful 58 published stories of Holmes and dr. Watson *many classmates of mine actually*. i’m not being hard or bitchy about it, but that’s just who i am, i’m a reader and a writer/blogger. i’m not going to watch a movie just because everybody else are watching it, but because it has a sentimental value on myself. why would i spent money i don’t work hard for and ask from my grandparents to watch under worthless circumstances as it’s a popular movie. it’s never on my principles to do so. sort of stupid, yes?

well that’s it for alice in wonderland 2010 and my personal opinion about it and going to a movie :)
