from the beginning i’ve following mira lesmana’s twitter and her progress of creating musikal laskar pelangi.

the story itself has been an inspiration for me since the beginning. i love love andrea hirata. my favorite indonesian writer :) inspired reading all four books.

watching the movie, definite cry cry session. with half of gonzaga watching as well. first outing with jesby erc gleny :’)

and this epic masterpiece of the wondrous story, the musical one! yeaaahhh, i’m gonna watch it. please, nothing would go wrong :’) aaammmeeennn. this made possible thanks to, again, my dearest friend alexander christian nugroho. tweet about it, @michaelpermana said i should ask him then he asked before i did ask. *good boy :p * i wanna go with timothy satyaabieza though :’) miss you much!

i’m a theater freak! broadway freak! i watched the 60’s movie of west side story and absolutely it’s my favorite. tonight is one of my ultimate favorite song since i was little. i just mesmerized by theater.

wicked is also my uber favorite. i mean, as a kid don’t you just love the wizard of oz? dorothy and all her adventures? broadway’s amazing! i deeply want to go to new york for this :’)

glee is somewhat a theater music too.. so don’t care how you mock it, hon, i love glee :*

never watched any play life before so i’m super excited. just hope and pray nothing go wrong and i get to watch it :’)

Post #448 So Why Leave Them Behind?

as i promised on the previous post, now i would like to write about masterchef and food.

i’m a big fan of food. if you ask my hobby i would say eating is numero uno. lucky for me, as a big eater i ain’t no plus-size so it really is a blessing i’m so proud to take advantage of. i also have the sweetest of sweet tooth! i absolutely love desserts, cakes, cookies, pies, ice creams, and most of all BROWNIES!!! love ‘em love ‘em! especially when the all gooey baked brownies combined with the most moist of whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles. aaarrrgghhh, all time best!

i ain’t no cook, i can cook but not so good. but i believe, with all my heart and soul, I AM A GOOD BAKER! yesterday, yes on christmas eve morning, i bake a big pan of valentine’s day brownies and the in-laws chocolate cookies (the latter, it’s kinda’ joke-ish mention *sorry, dearest ;)*)

valentine’s day brownies it’s a simple baked brownies. chocolate with sugar, butter, flour, and ya’ know what brownies are made of. my addition is rum (i’m a big jack sparrow fan too!) and candy chocolate inside or on top ;) why i named it valentine’s day brownies? because i first made it on me and dearest abieza’s second valentine’s day on february 2010 ;) *our first was 2009, jazz revolution project played on raffles international christian school’s valentine’s day* i spent the whole morning while he was at church baking the brownies because he said he would come over later in the afternoon. aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnddddd, he came with the biggest bouquet of yellow daisies! and he loved the brownies! love you love you!

this brownie also has the honor of being called as brownies dahsyat by my dearest erc :* (huuuugggssss)…

the in-laws chocolate cookies it’s kinda like chocolate chip cookies but without the chocolate chips still taste awesome though ;) i made it first for abieza’s 18 birthday and he absolutely loved it *yeaaa i know you do!* he said that his whole family liked it too *embarrass shy emoticons here!* so you get it yea why i name it that.. AMEN! *gosh, i really love my man!*

masterchef? gordon ramsay is frikin’ hot! and i love love love the food and graham elliot is adorable. reminds me sort of my dearest abieza ;) *runaway and hide* the show pretty much inspires me to try learning and practicing to cook and bake. and that’s what i wanna do! i wanna cook for my man ;)

btw btw btw btw! my baby cousin (well, he’s not a baby anymore) abimael candraditya is on the Indonesia national baseball team and they’re playing in Japan right now! so dooooooon’t just make a big fuss of the frikin’ football team (which not exactly national, the players are effin’ imported!), go take a look and support our baseball team too! merry christmas, my dear mael! hit the ball outta’ the park! love you soooo much!

another btw btw btw btw check this link out! thankkssss :*

Post #446 Don We Know Now Our Gay Apparel

for a cheerful sweet song to carol on christmas eve would be about some dude and his gay lover, don, and their sense of style. that is sick man! that is sick! well no, i’m just kidding.

i was surfing barney stinson’s quote and i came across this quotation that i just have to blog, it’s freakin funny! and a possible move to tumblr i’m considering. aaarrrghhh.. it’s more interactive to read and plain easy but this is my baby that got me through high school and now, college too! and probably the rest of my life here, so it’s just a consideration, i do have a tumblr account also but neaah..

back to the barney quote … IT’S GONNA BE LEGEND-wait-for-it-and-i-hope-you’re-not-lactose-intolerant-DARY!!!

Seriously. Jesus started the whole "wait three days" thing. He waited THREE days to come back to life. It was perfect! If he had only waited ONE day, a lot of people wouldn't have even heard that he died. They'd be all, "Hey Jesus, what up?" and Jesus would probably be like, "What up? I DIED yesterday!" and then they'd be all, "Uhh, you look pretty alive to me, dude..." and then Jesus would have to explain how he was resurrected, and how it was a miracle, and then the dude would be like "Uh okayy, whatever you say, bro..." And he's not gonna come back on a SATURDAY. Everybody's busy, doing chores, workin' the loom, trimmin' the beard, NO. He waited the exact right number of days, THREE. Plus it's SUNDAY, so everyone's in church already, they're all in there "Oh no, Jesus is DEAD", then BAM! He bursts through the back door, runs up the aisle, everyone's totally psyched, and FYI, that's when he invented the high five. Three days. We wait three days to call a woman, because that's how long Jesus wants us to wait.... True story.

Barney Stinson (Season 4 Episode 21 Three Days Rule)

this is a joke and totally fits the whole Jesus euphoria. tommorow night big daddy J is coming to town, we’re celebrating his glorious birth! soooo a barney’s bro-code-jesus-related-code would fit perfectly!

ooyeeaah, and imma’ gonna’ write about masterchef and FOODoodoo tomorrow, so be sure to keep in touch! :*

TTYL me ‘arty!

Post #442 Speaking Words of Wisdom

still at this shitty shitty bang bang place of immigration office.

keep telling myself all the way, that it’s for world model united nations .. i’m doing it for WMUN 2011!

i am not the only one pissed though *alongside the human sardines* the officer in the photo booth, yeaa everybody can tell from her voice giving out announcement, she’s pretty damn pissed.

looks like i’m staying until afternoon or night today here. aarrgghh, can somebody come and get me? i am in need of a big super sloppy burger.

oyeaa, i’ll be most avoiding crowded places for ummm.. until the end of the year perhaps? oh yea, it’s only three weeks away. is 2011 really coming that fast?

can you tell i’m really bored right now? the juice on my dearest lappy’s dying so this post is heavily depending on the last few minutes of my batteries. and there’s a little girl sitting on my left looking at the screen of my laptop.

good thing i have a pretty damn nice wallpaper. camera swap :) me holding i think cece’s camera, jesby behind me with my camera, and cece with benhard’s. it was on UPH building D room 501.

oyeah, there’s high school model united nations coming in february 2011 only at universitas pelita harapan. be sure your high school participate! it’s a great opportunity to learn and role-playing UN diplomats. well this imma’ write some more when i have more information :D

bye bye from immigration f*ckin office, TTYL :*

Post #441 To Have Been Where I Have Been

i am writing this in a shitty improper dreckitude place owned by the government. a little office filled with human sardines called the jakarta selatan imigration office.

it is, in this blogger solemn opinion, an embarrassment of the government. why you ask? i had the marvelous experience of seeing two foreigners, i believe from their accent and behavior that they are americans. as they flee as fast as the could from the upper level, they shouted “this is crazy, this is madness!”

as i quote those two men, i indeed agree. people are literally pushed here and there through the unknown current of where to go, uncertainty, and just plain CHAOS. children crying, babies shouting (and/or the other way around). ladies with over the top make-up which already running down their faces because of the heat (this one is actually funny)

in this governmental office i met the state of Indonesia. they are the officers behind the counters, with all the fancy outfits, garuda and name badges, and paperworks. some of them are really busy, i can tell. i saw one with a banana in one hand, blackberry smartphone on the other, and no paperwork at all, she might be the important person here ;) i understand that they are busy and there’s a lot of people they have to serve (well, they are the civil servants), but the way they act is just AWFUL. no smile, at least thank you’s. THEY ARE JUST RUDE!!!!

RUDE

not to mention oh how crowded the place is. as i said, a human sardine can! there’s two explanation to this

  1. the people are UNCIVILIZED. they just don’t know how to queue, they just hit anybody who come in their way. such dreadful scene. this is embarrassing to those foreigners in the office, is this really the portrait of the people of Indonesia? EMBARRASSING
  2. the CIVIL SERVANTS in their fancy office is PROVEN 100% UNRELIABLE AND UNABLE to control and manage their establishment. EMBARRASSING

this is exactly why i want to jump in to work in for the country. so that there’ll be no more blog post about this, no more foreigners coming in to the governmental office shouting this is crazy and madness. NO MORE HUMAN SARDINES.

this writing is definitely dedicated to my dearest country’s bureaucracy, if you read this, i’ll be gladly meet up and really voice it out: DUDE, YOU’VE GOT THE AWFUL-EST MANAGEMENT OF OFFICES.

thank you, i’ll be back with more blogging later tonight ;D

Post #439 And I Always Will

my current profile picture on facebook (it’s the post #436 exhibit c) brought back a lot of good but hell tiresome memories. even thinking about it makes me tired.

it is the picture of me taken by abyatar’s camera on day 1 of LDK, day 2 for us senior year senators.  we just woke up from a damn cold freezing night *and it’s only 15 minutes drive from my house*

it’s not the LDK memories coming back but the sweet TIRESOME memories of being member of the 2009/2010 senat, 1st secretary :’)

unwanted diet

forced insomnia

class skipper

tension & drama

zero sunlight

well, seems hard work all the times? yes, it’s hard work all the time. but i miss it so much.

first three-four months of senat, never i went home before 4 o’clock * i got home at 8.30ish, and still have work to do, homework, assignments, tests, phone calls* oh and if you take a look at my june 2009 archives, i post a blog a day before my one and only summer vacation (which was only a week) to visit my mother and sister for the secretaries: messages, reminders, formats, contact numbers of me and putri. on that day also, i almost skip class re-registration because of monthly senat meeting was on that day. the next week, right after i landed back safely in jakarta’s soekarno hatta airport, turned on the phone, erc called me to come to school the very next day to go over gonzaga festival 2009 proposal. it was awesome.

one positive awesome side, you got soooo used to reading and editing documents and all other papers you got sick of using copy-paste on assignments! o hell yea, you feel how it’s like to be a teacher (and actually ACTUALLY i’m quoting pak yudi’s word on this; he actually ACTUALLY said this to us when grading MOS tests), you’d learn how to read from the most beautiful and well written handwriting, to the one you have to pass over the answer sheet to all the senators to guess one word, and to the handwriting you know so well because the guy tried every test.

and one other thing i love love so much, because i have to type the notulen for monthly meeting and forum if it’s a senat forum, gonzfest if erc unavailable *done this on a meeting*, mos if chantal or yayi unavailable *done this on the after MOS forum*, I CAN TYPE REALLY REALLY FAST ;) sooooo great for note-taking in class now ;)

we learned politics. not the kind i study now on prof. aleksius jemadu’s class with andrew heywood’s book. similar but we have GREAT BUREAUCRATIC REFORM! bureaucracy in gonzaga is sooooooooo reform and neat and perfectly assembled, people spent days, nee weeks thinking about it (yes, this i’m referring to the after meeting discussion of danu adri cece about the bureaucracy of gonzaga festival 2009, awesome awesome).

being a secretary of senat in gonzaga, ummmhh.. first, you’ll be the person who knows everything because you write everything. you know people’s good and bad side, and what others think about it because you write everything. you know when what’s going on because you write the calendar. you’ll be the most looked for person BEFORE an event, be there during proposal-making, being asked for previous year documents, and being asked for your autograph ;) buuuuuuttt AFTER the event wrapped up, PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE! with just one question, either the secretary or head of event would try to escape your clutches (putri and i find the escape route to be most useful when avoiding danu or pak yudi or pater alis):

LPJ gimana perkembangannya? ini uda h+sekian

during our term, putri and i made a h+14 policy that the accountability report (LPJ) has to be in our hands. the only ones who look for us and not the other way around was MOS with hagi chantal yayi they are the most diligent and according to our secretary bible and punctual and oh i just love them :)

for my dearest erica pricilla tjiadarma oh, her hardwork for gonzaga festival proposal, letters, invitation, everything oh gosh. i’m speechless that she’s still sane enough to be president of yearbook committee. if i were in her position, i’d shot my self in the head. love you so much er. accompanying her all those long days and long nights, she’s doing hers i’m doing mine.

silliest memory was LAPTOPS. in plural. the usual victim were mine, erc’s, ceno’s, and ceces (without the apostrophe, you should be messing with YV crew if you’re to find out about this, he wasn’t around too i think) LOL! mine would be somewhere used to compose and edit some senat or study tour document on one side of the moderator room with the mod computer. erc’s would be on fr. khrisma’s OUR desk (o yea, we seniors own the mod room, not the moderators :p ) working on gonzfest as well as the mod’s other computer and printer. ceno’s would be used to do everything that had to do with  rundowns and however the each second of gonzaga festival would be going on. ceces in other hand, would be used for combination of the previous three with the additional abe wanted to listen to any song, me and erc were too bored to do anything and the mod computers were used by someone else and we (mostly me) would play silly with the touch screen *kill me now*

multi-tasking is one of the benefits. juggling senat, school, social life, boyfriend, friends, other committees (study tour *study tour ate my sanity* and yearbook *this, literally did not sleep for two weeks, probably only an hour, two tops a day. i’ll tell you the secret later* ), and family (by family i mean having dinner with everybody and sleeping not as everybody else were waking up). the most memorable memory of multitasking would be january 28, 2010 one day before timothy satyaabieza’s birthday. on that wonderful 18th birthday of his, lucky me it was also the deadline for the senat LPJ. went home as early as i could, started baking cookies at around 5ish, finished at 9ish, worked on senat’s LPJ until 10 and then rode a bike in the middle of the night to finish the job on snapy (printing place), biked home at 11 slept at 1 in the morning after finished cleaning up and all the rest. in the middle of baking, i had my laptop nearby so that when the cookies on the oven, i’d worked. i was so famished so tired so haven’t-got-much-sleep-all-night, i forgot to mention why the school prayed for timmy that day. i didn’t say it was his birthday on the intercom at the afternoon angelus prayer.

and i’m still confused why we had our breakup after all this fiasco, not during LOL!

actually all those resulted in me getting sick right DURING IN THE MIDDLE OF GONZAGA FESTIVAL 2009 DAY ONE! DAY UNOS! DAY SATU! DAY EEN! don’t really want to talk about it but doctor told me to a month rest, i was naughty so not even two weeks rest i went back to school on three days before gonzaga festival ended. it was all worth it when up on stage, documentating jazz revolution project i saw all of our parents. i saw galih’s brother first right in front of stage, then his mom and dad :) then i saw cece’s mom :) then abe’s mom, not sure if i saw his dad or not :) then to the far left of the stage, near the gonzaga swb sign, putri'’s mom and brother :) they were with my third grade homeroom teacher, the closest thing i ever have to a motherly figure, bu susan :’) oh how mike edwin and i love her so much.

ah i could go on and on and on but i already broke my promise to do my econs final paper so ttylfn! :*

Post #437 I Gotta See Your Face Some More

just a little warning, if you’re (by YOU i mean ANYBODY who would think YOU’RE in this post) gonna go upset after reading stop reading after the full stop mark at the end of this statement.

it was a dream, i was asleep, my eyes were closed

you’d betcha’ i didn’t control my mind

some say dreams are deep unconscious desire of your heart

really?

don’t ever realize i want it

duh-oh! you’re friggin’ unconscious!

other some say that dreams are opposite of what gonna happen

really?

don’t want the opposite to happen either

i really can’t make up my mind eh?

me say slideshow of images

so here the slideshow of images only going on in my head

can’t get ‘em out, don’t want ‘em out exactly

our day to day chats, like the usual

stupid messages in our stupid blackberries

up to sharing deep complication of what’s going on in each other’s day to day

miles apart

and when we did meet up

just a hug, just a kiss

that i can’t get out of my head

it becomes a slideshow of images

but ah, never mind really

it was only a dream

reality only almost’s, nearly’s, about to’s

make it more real next time, would 'ya’!

please, it’s only a dream. only words, if you’re pissed don’t get mad if i snap back at you (again YOU here can be ANYBODY. these are just words!). oh do i wish i was talking about han solo
