Post #439 And I Always Will

my current profile picture on facebook (it’s the post #436 exhibit c) brought back a lot of good but hell tiresome memories. even thinking about it makes me tired.

it is the picture of me taken by abyatar’s camera on day 1 of LDK, day 2 for us senior year senators.  we just woke up from a damn cold freezing night *and it’s only 15 minutes drive from my house*

it’s not the LDK memories coming back but the sweet TIRESOME memories of being member of the 2009/2010 senat, 1st secretary :’)

unwanted diet

forced insomnia

class skipper

tension & drama

zero sunlight

well, seems hard work all the times? yes, it’s hard work all the time. but i miss it so much.

first three-four months of senat, never i went home before 4 o’clock * i got home at 8.30ish, and still have work to do, homework, assignments, tests, phone calls* oh and if you take a look at my june 2009 archives, i post a blog a day before my one and only summer vacation (which was only a week) to visit my mother and sister for the secretaries: messages, reminders, formats, contact numbers of me and putri. on that day also, i almost skip class re-registration because of monthly senat meeting was on that day. the next week, right after i landed back safely in jakarta’s soekarno hatta airport, turned on the phone, erc called me to come to school the very next day to go over gonzaga festival 2009 proposal. it was awesome.

one positive awesome side, you got soooo used to reading and editing documents and all other papers you got sick of using copy-paste on assignments! o hell yea, you feel how it’s like to be a teacher (and actually ACTUALLY i’m quoting pak yudi’s word on this; he actually ACTUALLY said this to us when grading MOS tests), you’d learn how to read from the most beautiful and well written handwriting, to the one you have to pass over the answer sheet to all the senators to guess one word, and to the handwriting you know so well because the guy tried every test.

and one other thing i love love so much, because i have to type the notulen for monthly meeting and forum if it’s a senat forum, gonzfest if erc unavailable *done this on a meeting*, mos if chantal or yayi unavailable *done this on the after MOS forum*, I CAN TYPE REALLY REALLY FAST ;) sooooo great for note-taking in class now ;)

we learned politics. not the kind i study now on prof. aleksius jemadu’s class with andrew heywood’s book. similar but we have GREAT BUREAUCRATIC REFORM! bureaucracy in gonzaga is sooooooooo reform and neat and perfectly assembled, people spent days, nee weeks thinking about it (yes, this i’m referring to the after meeting discussion of danu adri cece about the bureaucracy of gonzaga festival 2009, awesome awesome).

being a secretary of senat in gonzaga, ummmhh.. first, you’ll be the person who knows everything because you write everything. you know people’s good and bad side, and what others think about it because you write everything. you know when what’s going on because you write the calendar. you’ll be the most looked for person BEFORE an event, be there during proposal-making, being asked for previous year documents, and being asked for your autograph ;) buuuuuuttt AFTER the event wrapped up, PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE! with just one question, either the secretary or head of event would try to escape your clutches (putri and i find the escape route to be most useful when avoiding danu or pak yudi or pater alis):

LPJ gimana perkembangannya? ini uda h+sekian

during our term, putri and i made a h+14 policy that the accountability report (LPJ) has to be in our hands. the only ones who look for us and not the other way around was MOS with hagi chantal yayi they are the most diligent and according to our secretary bible and punctual and oh i just love them :)

for my dearest erica pricilla tjiadarma oh, her hardwork for gonzaga festival proposal, letters, invitation, everything oh gosh. i’m speechless that she’s still sane enough to be president of yearbook committee. if i were in her position, i’d shot my self in the head. love you so much er. accompanying her all those long days and long nights, she’s doing hers i’m doing mine.

silliest memory was LAPTOPS. in plural. the usual victim were mine, erc’s, ceno’s, and ceces (without the apostrophe, you should be messing with YV crew if you’re to find out about this, he wasn’t around too i think) LOL! mine would be somewhere used to compose and edit some senat or study tour document on one side of the moderator room with the mod computer. erc’s would be on fr. khrisma’s OUR desk (o yea, we seniors own the mod room, not the moderators :p ) working on gonzfest as well as the mod’s other computer and printer. ceno’s would be used to do everything that had to do with  rundowns and however the each second of gonzaga festival would be going on. ceces in other hand, would be used for combination of the previous three with the additional abe wanted to listen to any song, me and erc were too bored to do anything and the mod computers were used by someone else and we (mostly me) would play silly with the touch screen *kill me now*

multi-tasking is one of the benefits. juggling senat, school, social life, boyfriend, friends, other committees (study tour *study tour ate my sanity* and yearbook *this, literally did not sleep for two weeks, probably only an hour, two tops a day. i’ll tell you the secret later* ), and family (by family i mean having dinner with everybody and sleeping not as everybody else were waking up). the most memorable memory of multitasking would be january 28, 2010 one day before timothy satyaabieza’s birthday. on that wonderful 18th birthday of his, lucky me it was also the deadline for the senat LPJ. went home as early as i could, started baking cookies at around 5ish, finished at 9ish, worked on senat’s LPJ until 10 and then rode a bike in the middle of the night to finish the job on snapy (printing place), biked home at 11 slept at 1 in the morning after finished cleaning up and all the rest. in the middle of baking, i had my laptop nearby so that when the cookies on the oven, i’d worked. i was so famished so tired so haven’t-got-much-sleep-all-night, i forgot to mention why the school prayed for timmy that day. i didn’t say it was his birthday on the intercom at the afternoon angelus prayer.

and i’m still confused why we had our breakup after all this fiasco, not during LOL!

actually all those resulted in me getting sick right DURING IN THE MIDDLE OF GONZAGA FESTIVAL 2009 DAY ONE! DAY UNOS! DAY SATU! DAY EEN! don’t really want to talk about it but doctor told me to a month rest, i was naughty so not even two weeks rest i went back to school on three days before gonzaga festival ended. it was all worth it when up on stage, documentating jazz revolution project i saw all of our parents. i saw galih’s brother first right in front of stage, then his mom and dad :) then i saw cece’s mom :) then abe’s mom, not sure if i saw his dad or not :) then to the far left of the stage, near the gonzaga swb sign, putri'’s mom and brother :) they were with my third grade homeroom teacher, the closest thing i ever have to a motherly figure, bu susan :’) oh how mike edwin and i love her so much.

ah i could go on and on and on but i already broke my promise to do my econs final paper so ttylfn! :*
