Post #379 First Day First Day and the Little Plastic Bag!

today is the first day of the semester exam for Gonzaga seniors.

this is probably the first exam in three years i don’t feel nervous about :) and that is totally great! i really studied hard last night and i plan to do the same this following week and national examination and school exam. it sucks to be a senior, soooo many exams that all you do all week is exams and on the weekend is buying a new set of 2B pencils. LOL!

i got really excited and felt awesome yesterday when our exam cards were distributed. they put the card in a little plastic bag every each one of ‘em (that’s sums up for about 700 pieces).

there are three point of views looking at this:

  1. from the POV of a student who works hard and NEVER CHEATS, this is an insult and a form of a mistrust. that the school doesn’t trust the students that we (students) can do good on our own hard work.
  2. from the POV of a CHEATER this is a “busted” kind of thing (if he/she is SMART ENOUGH to understand that). but knowing Gonzaga’s cheater, they are sneaky enough to cheat but definitely absolutely INCOMPETENT and IDIOT to realize that. they usually cover their fear by getting upset and mad and saying stupid about global warming (to make them sound smarter than they really are). and there are still so much students think like this. unfortunately (for them), they told me about their “anger” about the plastic bag (LOL for you it got published here!)
  3. from the POV of the school means the school realize and doing something about the kind of students i described in number 2, FINALLY! *i get the biggest hunch that our new wonderful headmaster is one behind this whole concept :)*

this should be a GREAT wake up call for all the 700something students of Gonzaga. that we will not just be the school with the uber colossal great Gonzaga Festival and all dozens events in a year, but also good quality ones. not just students great in organizing and socializing but also great quality in academics and mind.

sometimes i imagine this blog read by teachers, moderators, or the headmaster himself because all 700 of us, students, have opinions and chances to voice them. there are many student bloggers out there who cares about Gonzaga. and this is exactly why i write such a pointing post, because i care. it’s nice to be heard.
