i used to love erasing the board, the chalk board
the chalk dust around me feels like a cloud
so sweet, if i say so myself
like every little happiness fell with each dusty bits

i used to like strolling down some avenue, just to clear my mind
stepping towards an imaginary world i create on my own
everything topsy-turvy, upside-down, this and that

i used to listen to my iPod everywhere i go
feeling the beats of the drum inside me and the thrill of the bass exciting my mind
something to lift the weigh off my shoulder and feel 'me' again
d*mn, keep the music loud and playing!

i used to stay up late, snuggle under a white sheet, watching movies all night long
celebrating the freedom you called weekend and holidays
different ones every time, classic reminiscence of what i am before today
or maybe fell into a deep slumber, dreaming of a perfect tomorrow

they are only used-to's i seldom do right now
way so caught up in something else that is more important
somehow could be more important than talking to 'me' and being with 'me'
remembering 'me' through somethings i love most :
imagination. more imagination. art. a lot more imagination.

ik heb geen tijd afspelen nu
maar ik heb tijd voor kunstuk!
